Where else could we've spent our 25th Anniversary?  Where else could we have exchanged beetroot soup for beetroot salad?  Where else could we see so many tits in the garden?  We had a wonderful time here, recharged batteries off the vistas, moss and most of all the welcoming atmoshpere of the Coach House, which was just as cosy as it was five years ago.  Till next time!

Canny good like!  Change of pace, change of air, change of scenery.  Comfortable, pleasant, peaceful.  Nice one.
(Jack and Liz, 'Geordieland', August 2017)

We loved our stay at Duncraig Coach House where we immediately felt at home.  We enjoyed the birds in the morning and the cosy comfort of the house when coming back from our long one-day journeys exploring the whole area.  Our favourite was the Gardens of Dunvegan Castle.  We personally felt that much love had been put into this house and was pretty convinced this was true when we read the booklet about the Coach House transformation.  Thank you for this wonderful week.

Thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality in this beautiful corner of Scotland.  For a family like us, this is a perfect accommodation.  We enjoyed the boat trip to see the seals.

We had a lovely time with rain and sun.  Skye is very beautiful.  The walking way to Plockton is quite an adventure but fun to do!  You have to eat fish and chips at least once in the harbour.  It's nice in the apartment with books and games to enjoy yourself.  Thank you for the lovely time here!
(Amber (age 12) with Ingrid, Albert and Kynan, Netherlands, July 2017)

A very relaxing stay in your cosy apartment.  We particularly enjoyed touring Skye, an interesting journey to Applecross - glad we were not on a bike as the rain was torrential - and the Deli Gasta in Broadford.
(Michael and Pippa, Herefordshire, July 1027)

Thanks for a lovely stay here, as well as enjoying lots of local produce, long walks of stunning views.  We have watched Hamish MacBeth over 2 nights [DVD provided] and then visited the Plockton Crags to see 'Wee Jock's' burial site ... moving!  So much still to see and so many pubs still to visit!  Oh, West Highland Diary icecream is gorgeous!
(Sarah and Roy, Fife, July 2017)

We have absolutely loved our stay at the Coach House.  A beautiful little spot, perfectly situated in a stunning area.  We cannot wait iuntil our next visit and are very sad to leave.
(Sarah and Neil, Northumberland, July 2017)

Our accommodation was lovely and very comfortable.  What an achievement to get it to this beatiful apartment from what it was.  We had a lovely holiday and the weather was kind to us.  We did a lot of sighseeing between Plockton, Skye, Applecross, Torridon and many more.  We also think your garden is amazing.  Thanks for having us, hopefully we'll be back.
(Fiona, Paul, Katie and Tom, South Lanarkshire, July 2017)

Many thanks for the warm 'highland welcome' and help and advice during our stay.  We loved the imaginative and skilled use of the old Coach Hoise - all now very comfortable, warm and quiet.  Much to admire in the skill and care taken throughout.  Weatherwise, a mixed 12 days but redeamed by a fine 3 days and Dave's driving skills.  Re-visited Elgol (superb views), Glenelg (very good pub) and Applecross with Shieldaig (nail-biting return in cloud over the Bealach na Ba).  All-in-all we were very happy with our choice and decision to come.  All best wishes for any 'new ventures.'  Oh, and a red squirrel was seen at the back door.
(Sheila, Chris and Dave, Cumbria, June 2017)

Our first 'empty nest' holiday has been fabulous!  We have spent a lovely week exploring Skye and the local area - highlights have been Dunvegan Castle, Eilean Donan Castle, the otter and seal hide at Kylerhea and numerous exciting drives through fantastic scenery. The weather has been changeable but it didn't spoil the week - at least rain meant no midges for a while!!  Our time in Duncraig Square has been wonderful - thank you.
(Brian and Nicki, Cambridgeshire, June 2107)

Thank you both for making us all welcome in your apartment, which is an ideal base for exploring the lovely area around.  The tips and advice were invaluable and the jam was lovely. Maybe see you again in the near future.  Kind regards.

Fantastic holiday, apartment comfortable and relaxing, enjoyed watching the birds too! Weather was great, saw otters at Sheildaig, teh Cuillins without cloud at Loch Coruisk, lovely Spring flowers - everything perfect including collecting coral and sea urchins from local beaches and lovely walks to Plockton, the Crags, the Two Lochs and the coast. Thank you.
(Anne and Eric, West Yorkshire, May 2017)

Really enjoyed our stay.  The apartment has been very comfortable and an ideal base to explore this lovely area and the garden is an oasis in the woodland.  Enjoyed a variety of walks in the area.  The drive over the mountains to Applecross was interesting (!), decided to return via Shieldaig and glad we did as the scenery was stunning. Went on the boat ride to see the seals, along with members of the music school.  The music and singing was delightful.  The whole experience has been made amazing by the glorious weather.  Springtime on the West Coast - nothing better.  Thank you!
(Pamela and Jim, Cumbria, May 2017)

We loved staying in your delightful apartment, so quiet, relaxing and comfortable.  A good place to explore local walks, Plockton crags, the lochs and, of course, into Plockton village.  Lanes and tracks great for cycling, also don't miss far end of Plockton village and Coral Beach.  Further afield on Skye, Glenbrittle beach, the Cuillins and Talisker Bay made a great day out, along with the circuit around to Applecross for another.

(Caroline and Adam, Yorkshire, April 2017)

We had a really wonderful week in your beautiful apartment. Thank you so much for enabling us to really relax and enjoy this beautiful part of the world.  The walks on Skye were delightful even though we experienced quite a bit of rain!  Thank you also for the delicious jam.  We will certainly recommend you to our friends.
(Anita, Richard and Alina, Buckinghamshire, April 2017)

Lovely area, scenery beautiful!  Apartment lovely, Crannach visited every morning and garden birds beautiful.  Explored most of Skye, Portree, Dunvegan Castle, Talisker Distillery, Old Man or Storr (a hard climb), etc.  Runs to Applecross, Sheildaig, Eilean Donan Castle.  A relaxing week!  And thank you Kevin and Helen for the lovely jam, very kind. Have a great summer.

The week went by so fast!  So much to see and do, we will come back one day.  Thank you for being such welcoming hosts.  The Coach House is such a perfect place to relax and chill.
(Jeanette and Adrian, Lancashire, September 2016)

Lovely accommodation and fascinating to read the various books.  Skye and the Five Sisters were beautiuful in the sun.  We enjoyed the nostalgia of watching Hamish MacBeth [DVD in apartment's libraray].
(Claire, Ed, Anna and Callum, Lancashire, AUgust 2016)

The apartment is lovely and there is so much to do locally, even without a car - thanks to the wonderful Kyle Line Railway.  Great walks, to Plockton, Drumbuie coast walk, Attadale, Plockton Crags and local lochs.  The brilliant weather helped!  Coral Beach is lovely.
(Deborah, Glasgow, August 2016)

A very comfortable and well-appointed apartment - you have made a great job.  Thank you for the jam - delicious!  We enjoyed watching the numerous birds, especially the woodpecker, and the occasional visit from Crannach.  Despite a very wet week, the two good days we spent on Skye and the local area have whetted our appetites for more - we will definitely be back.  We appreciated the leaflet information on the local area and the extensive library.  Attadale Gardens are worth a look - even in the rain.
(Mick, Deb and Jolyon, Leicestershire, August 2016)

The weather has been very kind to us and the scenery truely spectacular.  Our boys have been immersed in the 'local culture,' haggis and cheesy chips with curry sauce, amazing wildlife, kayaking and of course midges!  We all loved it!  There are so many things to do and we will have to come back.  Thank you for all the great tips and gthe use of your maps and brilliant books on walks.
(Ailie, Willy, Connor and Fraser, London, August 2016)

We spent a very good weekin your cosy apartment even if it rained.  We explored Isle of Skye, Lochcarron and Applecross.  We didn't have time to do everything, so maybe we'll come back! Thank you for your welcome and marmalade.
(Peggy, Laurent, Florian and Elsa, France, July 2016)

We have enjoyed our stay here and despite the 3 days non-stop rain and a mini heat-wave (of one day) have had a good time.  Lots of cycling and some corbett bashing.

(Gillian and Pete, Ruth, Helen and Kit, Cumbria and London, July 2016)

What a fantastic week!  The stay here was great - very welcoming and cosy.  The gardens and surroundings are stunning.  With a lovely wee walk to Plockton.  Loved seeing the woodpecker and the other animals.  Thank you so much for our stay and your hospitality.  Your accommodation is beautiful.
(Lisa, Grant, Donna and Ian, Aberdeenshire, July 2106)

We've had a fantastic week in yourt beautiful apartment - the space inside and out is great with stunning views of Plockton.  We';ve had some great (if tiring!) bike rides and also some lovely walks exploring the local area.  Thanks for a lovely stay and we hope to return again!

(Gavin and Charlotte, Lancashire, June 2016)

Thank you for a lovely apartment.  We had a lovely week.  The weather was fantastic, sunshine every day.  The apartment is in a lovely setting and ideal for exploring Skye, Applecross and Torridon.  Enjoyed watching the birds [in the garden], especially the woodpecker.  Thank you again and also for the marmalade, which was very good.

(Kevin, Jane, Emily and Charlotte, Nottinghamshire, June 2016)

It's been so relaxing all week.  Really enjoyed the scenery, space and quiet.  The apartment is lovely and hope to be back one day.  Thank you for the hospitality.
(Eric and Kate, West Yorkshire and London, May 2016)

Had a wonderful time - lovely weather, extremely comfortable accommodation in a superb setting.  Thank you Helen and Kevin for making us so welcome - with love.  PS. the marmalade was very tasty!
(Sheila and Pat, Devon, May 2016)

(emailed comment)  Hi Kevin and Helen, apologies...we had thought that Izzy was writing a comment in your book on behalf of us all but she only remembered half way home that she hadn't done so.  She had been keen to do so as she, and her brother, loved it so much they were not wanting to leave!  I suspect climbing around the tree house in the drizzle and pond-dipping took priority over review writing!  We had an amazing time in your apartment; the Coach House was perfect for a few days escape from it all.  Beautiful accommodation, stunning locations and views, and welcoming hosts (lovely jam, too!).  The weather could have been a bit better but it didn't spoil our walks, cycles etc in the surrounding area. We will be back!  Thanks again.

(Lucy, Ali, Sandy and Izzy, Fife, April 2016)

Had a lovely weekend.  We saw some dramatic and beautiful scenery.  Amazing way the hail/sleet showers would give way to bursts of sunshine - made the snow-capped mountains even more breath-taking.  Found the Ardvasar Hotel (Sleat, Skye) open for food.  Travelling north at this time of year proved more tricky as very few places were open for lunch.  The Lochcarron Hotel was open though we had a picnic that day.  Ròs greatly enjoyed the jam!  The apartment was a wrarm and cosy base for our winter adventures.
